Let’s Dive in!
Twelve Waters is a lifestyle brand but what inspired the name and logo? As you may have noticed, the Twelve Waters logo consist of 12 lines. The twelve lines represent the 12 tribes of Israel and the 12 apostles that walked with Christ. The word “Water” represents the Word. In the Bible, the word of God is referred to as water.
Twelve Waters can be associated with “People of understanding”. We want to open your eyes to the notion that “the letter killeth”. A sentence can look and sound one way but mean something totally different! Twelve Waters is absolutely an inclusive life style brand. We don’t judge, and strive to create a brand that all people can feel comfortable in and love, but if you don’t mind a little spiritual education, read on.
Baptism is a great example to explain how “the letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life”-Corinthians 3:6. Many people believe baptism is saying you give your life to the Lord and being submerged in actual water for the cleansing of sins but just think, you could be baptized and commit the same sins the next day. This is a misinterpretation of true baptism. “But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life” -John 4:14. Now that we know what water represents, we can understand the true meaning of this verse. Once you are truly baptized and washed with the Word of the Lord, you will receive a better understanding of how to live this life more abundantly. As humans we have a natural curiosity for the mysteries of life. Seek out your understanding….better yet, Dive in!
